At the moment there is one train per day departing from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh on Saturdays and Sunday only, there is no Friday services. On both Saturdays and Sundays the train departs at 07.00 from Sihanoukville and scheduled to arrive in Phnom Penh at 14.30. Phnom Penh’s train station is 300 metres away from the Tonle Sap river and 100 metres from Freedom Park. This is a city centre location near to many of the city’s most important sites and its best hotels.
At the time of writing seats in air-conditioned and non air-conditioned carriages are available at the same cost.
