The big attraction of Koh Rong is its 23 white sand beaches. The island has not (yet) been heavily developed and the beaches and surrounding waters are unpolluted. Other than chilling out on the beach popular activities include snorkelling and diving. There is a PADI certified diving school on Kaoh Touch beach by the ferry pier which offers very inexpensive Open Water courses on completion of which participants are qualified to go diving at sites worldwide.
